The Love Conspiracy evolved from an earlier incarnation called 'Lick'. The Love Conspiracy launched with a gig at the London Royal Academy for Music in 1990. From there, the Acid-Jazz & funk covers outfit moved on to play numerous north-London venues with a regular spot at the WKD Cafe in Camden Town.
